Position: Installation Engineer
Duration: 2 year contract to hire
Location: Rochester Hills, MI
Travel: Up to 80% travel across North America, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil
Compensation: $35-$40/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Must Haves:
- 2+ years of Automation Engineering background (robotics machining, CNC, integration)
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical prints and schematics
- Team lead/supervisor experience
- Installation experience with robots or heavy automated machinery/equiptment
Plusses:
- FANUC robot experience
- Robot troubleshooting/programming background
Responsibilities:
A leading supplier of automation for manufacturing is looking for an eager Installation Engineer to join their team. The Installation Engineer will be traveling to customer sites to support the installation and troubleshooting of robots in the field. Other responsibilities include taking detailed inventory of the equipment, interfacing with customers and team members, and understanding the reading mechanical prints and schematics to determine the process of installing the robot.
