Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team at our mining operation in northern New York State. This position requires relocation to the local area and involves working 5 shifts of 10 hours each, with 2 days off per week. The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation within the mine.

Key Responsibilities:
Install and run cable, wire, and communication lines as required in the mining environment.
Perform mechanical installations, including mounting junction boxes (J-boxes), control boxes, and switch boxes.
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and prints for installation and repair work.
Test and troubleshoot electrical circuits, motors, fans, controllers, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and transformers to ensure proper operation.
Perform electrical terminations and splicing, including high-voltage splicing as needed.
Develop knowledge of hoisting and crushing operations and provide troubleshooting support for these systems.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant industrial electrical experience.
Ability to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
Must be able to carry out tasks without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of oneself or others due to the safety-sensitive nature of the role.
Willingness to relocate to the area and work a schedule of 5 days on and 2 days off per week.
