Sr. Full Stack Software Engineer – AI / Productivity Startup

Location: San Francisco, CA (5 days/week in the office)

The company's product involves AI, productivity, and no code. It can be used by businesses as well as consumers.

The position is based on the company's San Francisco office. The company seeks candidates who would be enthusiastic about working in the office 5 days/week.

The company has about 25 employees and 15 engineers. It has raised over $30 million in Series B funding and has 5 years of runway. Revenue goals are already ahead of schedule.

The company will pay up to $230k in salary, plus equity which could be very lucrative.

Job Responsibilities:

- Working as a full stack engineer with Node.js, TypeScript, and React.

- You could spend anywhere from 30-70% of your time on front end or backend engineering, depending on your preference.

- Working in a fast-paced, hard-working, startup environment.

Qualifications:

- Passion for AI and the positive impact it can make on humanity.

- Strong work ethic – this is not a 9-5 job.

- Fast-paced.

- Strong in React.

- Expertise in Single Page Application architectures.

- Full stack development experience.

- Willing and able to learn (if necessary) and primarily use Node.js. Strong in at least one of: 1) Node.js, 2) Python or Java, 3) Ruby or PHP or Go or C#.

- Enthusiastic to work in the office 5 days/week.

- Scrappy, independent, and able to thrive amidst changing priorities and not much structure.

- Happy to build things out from the ground up.

- Experience working with Mongo DB.

- Good understanding of cloud services such as AWS or GCP.

- Understanding of the CI pipeline and working with Git/GitHub

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have:

- Strong in TypeScript.

- Experience working with LLMs.

- Experience with distributed task queues.

- Startup experience.

- Experience founding a startup.

- Experience at top tech companies.

- Experience building high traffic consumer software products.
