TIER III ENGINEER SUPPORT - SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER
ROLE
Kaimetrix is hiring a highly experienced and skilled Tier III Engineer Support - Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Fort Eisenhower, GA. This position requires a professional with a strong background in systems engineering, advanced certifications, and extensive experience in the field. The ideal candidate will possess a BA/BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or Engineering, and have a current TS//SCI with CI Poly.
We will support INSCOM's mission by delivering products and services that enhance readiness and sustain Soldiers, Civilians, systems, and facilities. Key support activities include Program/Project Management, Network Engineering, Data Visualization, Cloud Engineering, System/Program Administration, Operations Research/Systems Analysis, Data Platform Analysis, System Evaluation, Test/Data Engineering, Full Stack/System/DevOps Engineering, System Engineering, and Distributed Processing, and Exploitation and Dissemination - Converged Infrastructure (DPED-CI).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Tier III Support Leadership:

• Lead and manage the Tier III support team, ensuring high-level technical support and resolution of complex issues.
• Provide expert guidance and mentorship to Tier III team members, ensuring they hold IAT II/Intermediate credentials.

System Management and Maintenance:

• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex systems and networks.
• Ensure systems are operating efficiently and securely, adhering to best practices and organizational standards.

Security and Compliance:

• Maintain and enforce the highest level of security protocols and compliance with DoD standards.
• Conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary improvements to safeguard systems.

Technical Expertise:

• Utilize advanced technical knowledge to resolve complex system issues and provide support for advanced computing environments.
• Stay current with the latest technologies, trends, and industry best practices to continuously improve system performance.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and support activities.
• Prepare and deliver detailed reports on system performance, security status, and support activities to senior management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 9-13 years of experience in systems engineering or a related discipline.
• Leader of Tier III holds IAT III/Advanced credentials; team members hold IAT II/Intermediate credentials as listed in DoD 8140 Training Repository (Intermediate), Qualification Code 451
• A+ or CND or Network+ or Security+ or CCSP.
• Cloud+ or GICSP or GSEC or SSCP, CASP+ or CCNP or Security+ or CCSP.
• IAT III; Security+ & Role-specific Compute Environment certification (e.g., Network+, Linux+, Cloud Essentials, etc.).

EDUCATION

• BA/BS or higher in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or Engineering.Security, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or Engineering.

LOCATION

• Fort Eisenhower, GA

CLEARANCE

• U.S. citizenship is required since this role supports the U.S. Federal government
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Current DoD TS/SCI with CI Poly Clearance

TRAVEL

• No travel required

WORK HOURS

• 40 hours per week
• 8 hours per day
