The Role - Founding Backend SW Engineer - Agents/LLMs

As our Founding Backend SW engineer, you will pioneer the development of our AI Agents and LLMs within our consumer applications. Your role is pivotal in shaping the architecture and operational excellence of our systems that cater to AI agents, LLMs, and tailored consumer recommendations. Operating autonomously within a team setting, you'll combine technical expertise with strategic vision, ensuring our infrastructure consistently remains at the forefront of the industry.

You'll report directly to our Co-founder and VP of Data, Cian Menzel-Jones. In this role you will:

• Enable the rapid development and iteration of AI Agent architectures and LLMs by our machine learning team

• Leverage cloud computing platforms (GCP or AWS) and 3rd party solutions where appropriate to enable high velocity product development and productionalization at scale

• Provide strategic guidance on infrastructure enhancements, optimizing for scalability and performance

• Build strong relationships with our machine learning and engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence

• Continuously monitor and adapt to emerging technologies, ensuring our systems remain innovative

Total Compensation & Pay Transparency

The compensation package for this role is meant to align with top Series-A companies and includes:

• Cash Compensation: The expected cash compensation for US employees in this position is $180K - $240K.

• Equity: As a founding engineer on the team, you will be granted significant ownership in the company
