About the Role:

We are seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer to join our rapidly growing product and engineering development team. Our company specializes in enterprise-level media measurement and optimization across various industries. In this role, you will take a leadership position within a cross-functional team responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining scalable software and data solutions to enhance performance, stability, and scalability. You will play a pivotal role in guiding the team and working closely with stakeholders throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in iterative development practices, deep knowledge of version control (e.g., GitHub), and both conceptual and pragmatic problem-solving skills. Your outstanding attention to detail and strong written and oral communication skills will enable you to work directly with a variety of users, understanding their objectives and translating them into technical requirements and solutions. Responsibilities of a Lead Full Stack Engineer:

  • Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable software solutions that meet business and technical goals, and drive significant business impact.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers and product managers to understand business goals, gather requirements, and translate into detailed, actionable technical requirements.
  • Create technical specifications, oversee code reviews, and assist in resolving urgent application issues in and outside business hours.
  • Innovate and maintain product quality in partnership with development partners, including prototyping and rapidly iterating solutions for viability and scalability.
  • Uphold code quality and standards while managing data integrity risks through efficient QA strategies.
  • Champion process improvements, implementing methodologies that enhance team efficiency, code quality, and overall project outcomes.
  • Research, write and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals and formal recommendations and reports. Lead discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop diverse technical talent, ensuring equitable opportunities and a culture of inclusion and respect, thereby inspiring and motivating all team members.
  • Participate in our talent acquisition and training programs, striving to build and maintain a diverse and inclusive team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning to keep your team current with emerging technology and software engineering trends.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of relevant web application development experience.
  • Expert in one or more object-oriented languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
  • Expert in data structures and design patterns.
  • Expert working with relational databases.
  • Highly proficient with microservices.
  • Highly proficient with testing best practices (e.g., unit, integration, smoke).
  • Highly proficient in building and deploying containerized application code.
  • Highly proficient with cloud-based platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure).
  • Highly proficient with DevOps & CI/CD.
  • Highly proficient in technical thought leadership at an enterprise scale.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with big data.
  • Experience with iterative development.
  • Experience in the digital marketing and analytics space.
  • Experience working with business users to understand goals and gather requirements.

Pay Transparency:

At Ovative, we offer a transparent view into three core components of your total compensation package: Base Salary, Annual Bonus, and Benefits. The salary range for this position below is inclusive of an annual bonus. Actual offers are made with consideration for relevant experience and anticipated impact. Additional benefits information is provided below.

For our Sr. Manager positions, our compensation ranges from $111,000 to $186,000, which is inclusive of a 25% bonus.
