The Opportunity

We are looking for a Business Development Lead to build and expand our Web3 book of business. You will form, develop and grow close relationships within multiple marquee ecosystems (Solana, Ethereum, Bitcoin, Aptos, etc.) to help drive new business and job orders. You will become a subject matter expert on Engineering roles and Web3 ecosystems/companies. By helping us generate new client and job opportunities, your efforts will be absolutely integral to the success of our business.

Our Expectations

  1. You will work alongside your manager to gain a full understanding of our processes and our business, including clients, technologies, candidates and industries.
  2. Working alongside your manager, you will develop a sales strategy to acquire new clients and job opportunities within existing industries AND new ones.
  3. Identify and leverage existing relationships to generate new clients and new job opportunities.
  4. Identify, develop and build new relationships to generate new clients and job opportunities.
  5. You will be expected to properly document and track existing and new prospect information in our database.
  6. You will be expected to travel monthly to meet current clients, new business prospects and attend conferences around the globe (NYC, Chicago, Miami, Europe, APAC).
  7. You will be expected to create and build a LinkedIn AND Twitter presence.
  8. You will be expected to evaluate new clients and jobs independently and determine which suit our team the best.

Your Creds

  2. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  3. 3+ years of B2B or B2C sales experience.
  4. High sense of urgency and self-confidence while working in a results-oriented environment.
  5. Able to operate in a startup environment.
  6. Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and on a team.
  7. Demonstrated interest and some knowledge of Web3 ecosystems and projects.

Your Growth

Within 1 month you’ll:

  1. Be fully on-boarded to our various systems, tools and processes.
  2. Sit in with experienced team members (on our team and others) to learn the ropes of our business.
  3. Take part in a comprehensive course on Recruiting, Software Engineering, Web3 and Trading.

Within 3 Months You’ll:

  1. Craft a sales and marketing strategy with your manager to target new accounts.
  2. Actively participate in current client conversations.
  3. Start networking with current and past clients and candidates.

Within 6 Months You’ll:

  1. Be fully autonomous.
  2. Have the confidence to leverage our existing network and develop new networks.
  3. Drive the sales process for our team.
