Associate PowerBI Developer

The Mid-Level PowerBI Developer at Archetype SC will be responsible for creating and optimizing data visualizations and reports using Power BI. This role involves collaborating with business analysts and other stakeholders to transform data into actionable insights, ensuring data accuracy, and enhancing the overall reporting experience for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data modeling, DAX, and Power BI best practices.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into data models and visualizations.
• Optimize and enhance existing Power BI reports for better performance and user experience.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all reports and dashboards.
• Implement and manage Power BI data gateways for seamless data refreshes.
• Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and industry best practices to continuously improve reporting capabilities.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on Power BI tools and reports.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in developing reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Strong proficiency in DAX and data modeling within Power BI.
• Experience with Power Query, Power BI Service, and Power BI Desktop.
• Familiarity with data integration techniques and data warehousing concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively present data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience with SQL, Azure Synapse, or other data integration tools.
• Microsoft Power BI certification (e.g., PL-300).
• Knowledge of advanced analytics and machine learning concepts.
