Minimum qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
2. 2 years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder, or a related technical role.
3. 1 year of experience building and shipping technical products.

Preferred qualifications:

1. 2 years of experience developing internet products and technologies.
2. Experience with automotive engineering.
3. Experience with Android OS embedded or application software development.
4. Experience working cross-functionally with product teams to launch technical partner integrations and/or go-to-market strategies.

The Android Auto team collaborates with vehicle manufacturers to develop and deliver on this massive opportunity, building on a proven embedded platform to create a leading Assistant-powered, navigation, entertainment, and communication vehicle system.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate across multiple product areas (e.g., Google Assistant, Google Maps, Google Cloud) and functions (e.g., design/engineering, business development, Partner Engineering, etc.).
2. Work with and influence OEMs.
3. Work directly on real car hardware in test vehicles to develop, test, and improve the technology.
4. Develop and execute on product roadmaps, to achieve the outlook while responding to the needs of the engineering partners and partner teams.
5. Be responsible for product outcomes.
