Packaging Test Engineer II

Albin Engineering Services, Inc. ( is looking for a Packaging Test Engineer I for one of our premier clients in the San Diego, CA area. As their employee, you qualify for their full benefit package.
Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct client-requested package testing using testing standards defined by ISTA and ASTM standards, customer requirements and Quality Management System.
• Accurately conduct testing and data management to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Ensure order accuracy and quality through document control, standard operating procedures and auditing
• Provide a high level of customer service for onsite testing support. Partner with customers as the host for onsite package testing needs.
• Maintain various site standards and expectations.
• Maintain responsive customer communication regarding testing services provided. Update customer on test status, updates, results explanation and consultation for improvements and recommendations.
• Support Internal customers departments like Engineering Services with customer support or technical expertise.
• Responsible and duties that support the site lab operations, includes but not limited to duties associated logistics, administration, and facilities.

• B.S. Degree in Engineering, Packaging or Packaging emphasis, or equivalent technical education degree.
• 1-4 years of working laboratory experience in conducting product/packaging testing is preferred.
• Experience in packaging or product testing or related industry is ideal.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as protocols, industry specifications and procedures.
• Understanding packaging fundamentals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and general computer literacy.
• Math skills: Intermediate to advanced algebra, statistics and geometry.
