We are seeking an experienced **Project Manager / Technical Lead** to spearhead the development of our new AI-enhanced book creation platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and project management, with expertise in AI technologies and native Apple application development. You will lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver a cutting-edge platform that integrates AI assistance throughout the book creation process.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with company goals.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Lead the architectural design and technical strategy for both web and native Apple applications.
Team Management
- Assemble and manage a multidisciplinary development team, including frontend and backend developers, AI/ML engineers, UI/UX designers, and QA testers.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations for team members.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Technical Execution
- Oversee the development of the web application using Java and JavaScript frameworks.
- Lead the development of the native Apple app utilizing Swift, SwiftUI, and Apple's AI frameworks.
- Integrate AI capabilities to enhance user experience, including natural language processing and machine learning features.
- Ensure cross-platform compatibility and optimal performance across all devices.
Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the development team, senior management, and other stakeholders.
- Provide regular project updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders.
- Gather and incorporate feedback to refine project objectives and deliverables.
Risk and Quality Management
- Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.\
Oversee quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of software quality and reliability.
Budget and Resource Management
- Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with third-party vendors and service providers as needed.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Implement process improvements to enhance team productivity and product quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- **Minimum of 5 years of experience** in project management and technical leadership roles.
- Proven track record in leading the development of complex software projects from conception to launch.
Technical Expertise
- Proficiency in Java and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
- Experience with frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
- Strong knowledge of native Apple development using Swift and SwiftUI.
- Familiarity with Apple's AI frameworks, including Core ML and Create ML.
- Understanding of AI models such as GPT-4 for natural language processing tasks.
- Experience with backend development, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture
Project Management Skills
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Jira).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or Certified Scrum Master.
- Experience in developing AI-driven applications or platforms.

- Knowledge of data security best practices and encryption technologies.
- Previous experience in the printing or publishing industry.
