GIS Developer / GIS Analyst

Location : Green wood, CO (Locals Needed.)

Duration : 6 months Contract.

Position Overview: The GIS Developer/Analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive GIS datasets. This includes editing, managing, and verifying field data, troubleshooting errors, and interpreting GIS data related to town infrastructure. The role involves importing data from various sources and using modern web technologies like React and JavaScript to build and enhance GIS-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, edit, and maintain GIS datasets for town infrastructure projects.
• Collect and verify field data to ensure GIS accuracy.
• Import and integrate GIS data from a variety of sources into the system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data errors, and interpret GIS data to answer infrastructure-related questions.
• Build and enhance web applications using React and JavaScript to display GIS data.
• Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to understand their GIS data needs.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of professional experience in GIS development and data management.
• Proficiency with ArcGIS and related GIS tools and technologies.
• Strong experience with React and JavaScript for building web applications.
• Ability to troubleshoot GIS-related data issues and interpret complex datasets.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other teams.
