Apex Systems has an Immediate Need for a (40% Remote) Infrastructure Engineer in Plano, Texas !! This will be an Estimated "6+ Month Contract" opportunity, supporting one of our Largest Healthcare Clients across the Untied States. Please see below for Complete Details.

- Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer

- Location: ** 40% Remote ** (2 Days Remote Each Week) / Plano, Texas

- Contract Layout: Est. "6+ Month Contract"

- Contract Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 / Hourly Rate

*** REQUIREMENTS ***

• Must be Eligible to Work On W-2 without Sponsorship
• 5 Combined Years of System, Network, Infrastructure or Similar Engineering Experience
• Experience with one or more of the following (Microsoft technologies including: Active Directory, O365, Teams, and Azure)
• VMware
• Storage, SAN, NAS, EMC, iSCSI, or Similar Experience
• Network / Wireless Experience
• Linux, UNIX, or Windows/Microsoft Experience
• PowerShell, BASH, Python, or other Scripting Language (5 Years)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• · Monitoring and managing all system/network infrastructure, troubleshoot reported problems. Including, but not limited to:
• · Virtualization infrastructure
• · Storage infrastructure
• · Backups infrastructure
• · Network/wireless
• · Firewall/Security
• · Analyze system logs and identify potential issues with computer systems.
• · Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
• · Install and configure new hardware, storage, and software.
• · Add, remove, or update user account information, resetting passwords, etc.
• · Assist with the development of system architectures and IT project plans
• · Answer technical queries and assist users.
• · Conduct system performance tuning.
• · Work with security team to remediate systems/infrastructure as required.
• · Build, implement, and troubleshoot information systems within the Microsoft stack of technologies, including Microsoft Azure cloud technologies.
• · Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk assessment, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
• · Assists in the design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of new software and enhancements of existing applications.
• · Provide technical support on existing and emerging technologies, plan and execute technology projects, tasks, and initiatives.
