TITLE: Senior Software Engineer

Location: 1130 Sanctuary Parkway, Alpharetta, GA 30009; Telecommuting permissible from any location in the U.S.

Salary Range: $122,450.00 /yr - $146,960.08 /yr

Job Description:

1. Design, implement, and integrate software for monitoring and alerting systems.
2. Innovate solutions to challenging business use cases, existing systems, and operational problems.
3. Produce architectural designs, system analysis, and programming activities on application software.
4. Develop using best-practice data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and frameworks that are maintainable, scalable, responsive, and secure.
5. Implement quality code with attention to scalability, security, and performance with an end-to-end mindset from conception to delivery and production support, owning specifications, quality, release deployments, and monitoring of production health.
6. Produce complete, simple, and readable technical documentation for everything developed and maintain a team culture of documenting everything.
7. Test and ensure quality of all code developed in line with principles of test-driven development and continuous delivery, utilizing test automation frameworks wherever possible.
8. Participate in code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor software engineers.
9. Collaborate with engineering leadership, Product Managers, Designers, Test Automation, and other teams and business units to define, prioritize, sequence, and scope business and functional requirements and drive results.
10. Provide instrument infrastructure and application performance monitoring, capacity management, alerting, tools instrumentation, and metrics (KPI) management.
11. Maintain knowledge and ensure competency and compliance with policies and procedures, to be the technical expert while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
