Lead Structural Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, and management of bridge projects from conception through completion. This role requires a strong foundation in civil engineering principles, project management skills, and the ability to lead a design team. The Structural Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that all projects meet safety standards and client specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare structural design calculations and perform analyses on projects of varying complexity using hand calculations, analysis software, and other accepted methods.
• Prepare plans and specifications for construction projects that comply with applicable codes and regulations.
• Perform construction administration with periodic field inspections.
• Assisting with generating required engineering reports, performing quantity estimates, detailing, and drafting.
• Bridge inspections and load ratings with some travel possible.
• Ensure quality procedures are maintained for all work.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a similar degree from an accredited school with and emphasis in structural engineering. Master’s degree is a plus.
• 4 or more years of Structural Engineering experience in bridge design preferred.
• P.E. license in WI or MN
• Experience on a variety of state and local engineering projects.
