CNC Machinist (Swiss)

In this role, you will be responsible for operating CNC mills and lathes as well as Swiss CNC machines to produce high-quality parts.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and mills, to produce precision parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
• Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong understanding of CNC programming and machining processes.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments and tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
• Ability to operate or past experience operating Swiss CNC Machines
• Knowledge and use of G & M Coding to alter programs is a plus

Salary info:

$26 - $31 / hr
