As an Aerospace Embedded Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing state-of-the-art embedded platforms and security technologies. You will contribute to high-impact research and development projects, working closely with U.S. government agencies. Collaborate with a diverse team of top-tier researchers across multiple technology disciplines, and make a significant impact on the wide range of programs Randstad supports.
Required Skills -
• USA Citizenship. Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Security Clearance.
• embedded devices (e.g., Xilinx, NXP, MicroChip)
• hardware-based security (e.g., UEFI, TPM, ARM TrustZone, Secure Boot)
• software development for embedded systems (e.g., computer architecture, Linux OS, RTOS)
• Linux OS security
• programming skills (e.g., C/C++, Python, Go, Rust)
• CNSA 1.0/2.0 and NIST cryptographic algorithms and standards
Job Duties
• Develop and apply advanced cybersecurity technologies for embedded systems independently and as part of a team.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and firmware developers, as well as engineering tool providers, to find solutions for complex applications.
• Lead medium- to large-scale projects or tasks.
• Document technologies and results through patent applications, technical reports, and publications.
• Stay updated on advances in embedded cybersecurity to explore new ideas and applications.
• Work with colleagues across Client and government agencies in a collaborative team environment.
Job Requirements
• Experience with embedded devices (e.g., Xilinx, NXP, MicroChip).
• Experience with hardware-based security (e.g., UEFI, TPM, ARM TrustZone, Secure Boot).
• Proficiency in software development for embedded systems (e.g., computer architecture, Linux OS, RTOS).
• Experience with Linux OS security.
• Embedded programming skills (e.g., C/C++, Python, Go, Rust).
• Familiarity with CNSA 1.0/2.0 and NIST cryptographic algorithms and standards.
Desired Skills & Experience
• Experience with network protocols and security
• Experience with cryptographic libraries (e.g., OpenSSL, wolfSSL)
• Experience with embedded development in RTOS (e.g., VxWorks, FreeRTOS)
• Knowledge of anti-tamper technologies and cross-domain solutions
• Ability to turn innovative ideas into products
• strong analytical and communication skills
• Familiarity with Agile methodology
• Active U.S. Government Security Clearance
