We are seeking an experienced Space Systems Senior Network Systems Engineer to support Space Systems Command Battle Management Command, Control, and Communications (SSC/SZ) portfolio. The position is available in Dayton, OH.

Duties include but are not limited to:

1. Support enterprise integration and modernization of tactical level Command, Control & Communications (C3) capabilities to transform satellite operations and improve resiliency.
2. Perform space acquisitions, engineering, operations, and technical advice and assistance for all projects and programs, as required, to support any stage of the acquisition life cycle.
3. Perform requirements analysis and decomposition, including system performance test and verification.
4. Provide detailed, executable recommendations to support driving down risk.
5. Perform engineering analyses to predict and define problems, define/design actionable corrective measures, and operational implementation of systems.
6. Review and assess contractor designs and conduct trade studies on alternative system design approaches.
7. Participate or lead technical meetings and government-led studies, assess technical baselines and ensure system modifications meet requirements.
8. Support cyber testing and assessment activities.
9. Provide recommendations regarding cyber activities, including techniques, packets, and mission partner responsibilities.

Qualifications Required (Skills)

1. MS/MA with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
2. Highly knowledgeable in classified network systems engineering processes and procedures, including but not limited to requirements development, configuration control, and authority to operate procedures.
3. Demonstrates ability to organize and conduct information security support operations and management.
4. Demonstrates ability to develop, update, and coordinate network operations.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and writing) skills.
6. Must have experience in using critical thinking to prepare written reports and presentations for decision makers.
7. MUST HAVE AT A MINIMUM, A CURRENT TOP SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE AND BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A TS/SCI CLEARANCE, FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU DO NOT MEET THIS REQUIREMENT.

Qualifications Desired

1. Master's and/or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
2. IASAE Level III Certification (CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP).
3. IAT Level II or higher certification (Security+ CE, CISSP, etc.).
4. INCOSE ASEP, CSEP, or equivalent certification.
5. Experience in developing cyber security artifacts to support system accreditation.
6. Experience developing required documentation to setup communications connectivity at military installations.
