Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior React Developer with extensive experience in building accessible web applications that comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain robust and user-friendly applications in the banking sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, an understanding of accessibility standards, and a passion for creating inclusive digital experiences
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient React applications that adhere to ADA compliance and accessibility best practice
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure accessible designs and seamless user experience
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers while promoting best practices in coding and accessibility
- Implement unit tests, integration tests, and accessibility tests to ensure high-quality deliverable
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and accessibility
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in React, accessibility standards, and banking regulation
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fie
- 9+ years of experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on Rea
- Proven experience in implementing ADA compliance and accessibility best practices in web application
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.js, along with state management libraries (e.g., Redux).Familiarity with ARIA roles, semantic HTML, and tools for accessibility testing (e.g., Lighthouse, axe).
- Experience working in the banking or financial services domain is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to conduct face-to-face interviews in a collaborative setting.
