About The Role
The Data Infrastructure team's mission is to provide a world-class platform that enables decisions across the company. As a Software Development Engineer, you'll work on technical problems including test infrastructure, data frameworks and compute clusters. You will report directly to the Engineering Manager.
You Will
- Design, develop and maintain large-scale data infrastructure and tooling
- Partner with product managers and engineers across teams to help achieve product goals
- A BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
- 6+ years of experience as a software developer
- Experience building and maintaining data infrastructure (ie compute clusters, metadata catalogs, data governance)
- Proficiency with one or more general-purpose programming languages like Java or Go
- Skills in engineering distributed systems

Compensation Details: The starting base salary range for this position is typically $159,090 - $189,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
