Job Description Summary: Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) organization at PayPal. Our focus is to minimize production incident impact, ensuring the best PayPal customer experience. We are building an automated suite and pipeline of interoperable products around auto-detect, auto-triage and auto-remediation that will help us achieve world-class reliability.

Your day to day:
- Responsible for leading a team of Junior Engineers
- Mentor and partner closely with cross-functional teams in design, product, and other business units
- Code high-volume and scalable software (front-end and/or back-end focused)
- Solve hard complex problems in a fast-paced environment
- Deliver results iteratively on time every time
What you need to bring:
- Extensive experience leading or managing a team of Engineers
- Strong applied experience. You’ve built, broken, and rebuilt software applications. We’re looking for creative thinkers who also know how to create real-world products.
- Working knowledge of web technologies
- Familiarity with any or multiple of the following: Node.js applications, Java, Python
- Understanding of concepts related to a microservices architecture and system design
- Exposure to AI concepts and machine learning models. Hands-on project experience is a must-have.
