As the SharePoint UI/UX Designer, you will be joining a growing team that is working on exciting and highly visible projects for our Department of the Treasury customers. You will have a strong graphic design and user interface design skillset and you will work with a highly collaborative team to bring fresh and innovative solutions to the customer.

Program Mission
The Project You Will Be Working Will Be To Create Customer-centered SharePoint Products That Enhance User Experiences At Treasury. You Will Work Closely With Stakeholders, Throughout The Organization, To Design An Intuitive And Visually Appealing SharePoint That Meets Customer Requirements. Additional tasks include:
- Understand user needs and requirements through research, user interviews, surveys, and other methodologies to inform design decisions.
- Develop user personas, user stories, and user journeys to guide the design process and effectively communicate user needs to the team.
- Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Develop high-quality user interface designs, prototypes, and mockups.
- Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate and optimize designs for usability and efficiency.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards to maintain consistency across all products.
Requirements:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, analyze user needs, and design effective user interfaces for the web application.
- Design UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for our web application.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure successful implementation of designs within an agile development process.
- Continually review and revise design recommendations and engage with digital users to ensure usability and user satisfaction.
- Create written user documentation, instructions, and procedures for the purpose of training new users and improving overall user proficiency.
- Research, analyze, and test new technologies and design trends to improve the user experience.
- Ensure the web application meets accessibility standards and complies with government brand standards and guidelines.
- Ability to wireframe, prototype, and validate work using design tools.
- Knowledge of web application design principles and government branding standards.

Years of Experience : minimum of 5 - 8 years of relevant experience.
Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
