Job Description

For the Messaging Services GPI Team for ongoing initiatives GPI Projects, we require an individual with excellent JAVA programming experience with the following:

1. JAVA 8
2. Restful API implementation using Tomcat
3. JSON and XML data formats
4. Cryptography implementation in JAVA
5. Python Scripting and JUnit Testing experience
6. Lambda Expressions & Streams (added advantage)

Candidates should have an advanced understanding of object-oriented programming using JAVA and should be able to conduct code reviews for best practices, security, and coding standards. Linux operating system experience is a must. Working knowledge of Python programming is a plus for this position.

Desired Database Skills

While not mandatory, the following database skills are desired:

1. NOSQL
2. CASSANDRA
3. Kafka/Kafka stream
