Our client is rapidly growing Prop Trading firm! You will be working alongside other software engineers, quants, traders, and will be responsible for the development and daily operations of an event based risk management system and market data service platform. This includes creating new functionality and implementation of the platform.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Advanced Python Development skills, and SQL
- Experience working with distributed systems and large data sets
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, design patterns, OOP, threading, multiprocessing, etc
- Familiarity working with Kafka
- Experience working in a Linux environment and git
- Experience developing infrastructure for quantitative trading
- Strong communicator and analytical problem solver
