Senior Front End Developer

Location: Hybrid onsite 2 days/week in Boulder, CO. USWA: US citizen

At Anark, our Senior Front End Developer is responsible for high-fidelity client-side features for the Anark product suite. This position expects developers to plan and deliver high-quality software releases within Anark's SCRUM-based agile development process. The ideal candidate will be an expert in TypeScript, JavaScript, and React, and be able to build performant web applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance mobile-first web apps using React and TypeScript.
• Develop and maintain a low-code framework for downstream customer use.
• Analyze UX designs and provide constructive feedback related to implementation details, UX performance, and edge cases.
• Interact with the platform team to evolve client APIs.
• Write and execute unit and integration tests in Jest or Vitest to ensure the reliability of the code.
• Actively participate in code reviews to ensure codebase consistency and quality.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• 5+ years of programming experience in TypeScript.
• 3+ years using ReactJS and Sass/CSS.
• Experience using REST APIs, JSON, and Web Workers.
• Responsive web design experience.
• The ability to detect underlying design methodology in existing code with emphasis on performance and traceability.
• Experience in implementing automated tests using Jest or Vitest.
• Experience with agile software development processes, version control using Git, continuous integration, and automated DevOps pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar.
• Capable of managing multiple, concurrent deliverables on aggressive delivery schedules with a conscientious work ethic.
• Strong technical and communication skills—capable of garnering the respect of team members and associates within the company.

Desired Skills

• Experience with state management tools like Zustand.
• Programming experience in WebGL.

Required Education and Professional Experience

• 5+ years of applicable software development experience.
• BS in Computer Science or similar.
