Encore Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer- Angular to work for a client in Cincinnati, OH.

Overview

• We are seeking an experienced Angular developer to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. As a contractor, you will work closely with our team of developers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• As a member of an agile squad, responsible for implementing new features and enabling capabilities using modern software engineering tools and practices. Adheres to practices and standards, set by communities of practice, and contributes to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, ensuring that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to create user-friendly interfaces and seamless integration with back-end systems.
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code.
• Contribute to a culture of learning by documenting and sharing technical knowledge as a developer on an agile squad.
• Participate in developer communities of practice by following best practices, participating in code reviews, and sharing knowledge.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development.
• Work closely with Product Owner, Agilist, and development team members to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Participate in researching and resolving customer issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or comparable with 2 - 3 years of software development experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design and development experience with one or more of the following programming languages: TypeScript / HTML / CSS.
• Familiarity with testing tools: Karma / Jasmine / Jest / Cypress.
• Angular web development framework 10+.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Accessibility best practices.
• Experience with version control solutions, preferably Git/GitHub.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience With Any Of The Following, a Plus

• Gradle.
• Node.js.
• Java (8 or above).
• Spring Framework.
• Spring Boot.
• Microservice design principles.
• Experience with OAuth-based authentication and authorization.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
