Assistant Handbag Designer

Overview:

We are seeking a talented Design Assistant with experience in handbags and small leather goods to support our lead designer. The ideal candidate will be proficient in PLM, creating tech packs, and sketching, with strong skills in Adobe Illustrator. Knowledge of Clo3D is a significant plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development process of handbags and small leather goods.
• Create and manage tech packs, ensuring all specifications are accurate and up-to-date.
• Support in sketching designs, maintaining a high level of detail and precision.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure alignment on style, color palette, and product direction.
• Utilize PLM systems to track product development stages and communicate with cross-functional teams.
• Utilize Adobe Illustrator for creating and modifying design elements.
• Leverage 3D design software like Clo3D for visualization (preferred but not required).

Qualifications:

• Experience in handbag/small leather goods design or related fields.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and PLM systems.
• Strong sketching skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in creating and managing tech packs.
• Knowledge of Clo3D is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
