Project Engineer

Southland Holdings is currently accepting resumes for Entry Level Project Engineers for our Dallas division.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Environmental compliance (SWPPP) inspections.
• CAD drafting for work plans and internal analysis.
• Quantity survey - daily review and documentation of progress at each site including both permanent and temporary works that are self-performed and that of any subcontractors.
• Working with supers and engineers on routine tasks on the project, providing support as needed.
• Interacting with inspectors and communicating with the crew and SCI management to identify changes.

Qualifications:

• CAD skills.
• MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to work extended hours.
• Climb ladder over 25-ft.
• Periodically lift weight up to 50 lbs.
• Work underground.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering. Relevant US experience can waive degree.
