Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Software Engineer to fill an open position with one of our banking clients. As a lead contractor, you'll be responsible for provisioning IT development, analysis, information management (DBA), or QA, leveraging specialized knowledge of niche technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Modify existing databases and database management systems.
• Write and code logical and physical database descriptions, coordinating database development within project teams.
• Estimate time and cost for project requests, reviewing user needs to determine project scope.
• Troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in XML, Java, JSP, SQL, and other relevant software.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science/software engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in the field.
