Xcelerate Solutions is currently seeking a Marklogic - Java Developer to provide Agile DevOps support to mission-critical systems. As the Marklogic SME on this program, you will have the opportunity to build strong systems, software, and cloud environments and provide operations and maintenance for critical systems. The candidate will design, develop, and implement Marklogic code and data within technology initiatives. Based in a DevOps framework, participate in and/or direct major deliverables of projects through all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding, and unit testing. Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop solutions that integrate Marklogic with existing enterprise platforms and systems
2. Develop XQuery, JavaScript, and REST modules on the Marklogic technology stack
3. Develop Entity models
4. Utilize the Marklogic library to support GRC initiatives
5. Participate in software programming initiatives to support innovation and enhancement, using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, Python, SpringBoot, and Hibernate.
6. Develop and direct software system validation and testing methods using Junit and Katalon
7. Develop and integrate custom developed software solutions to leverage automated deployment technologies
8. Develop, prototype, and deploy solutions within Commercial Cloud Solutions leveraging Infrastructure platform services
9. Coordinate closely with team members, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to ensure User Story alignment and implementation to customer use cases
10. Analyze (through proof of concept, performance, and end-to-end testing) and effectively coordinate Infrastructure needs driven by developed software to meet customer mission needs
11. Support the Agile software development lifecycle following Program SAFe practices
12. Use industry-leading DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Unix bash scripting
13. Document and perform systems software development, including deployment of build artifacts across different environments leveraging GitFlow constructs
14. Communicate key project data to team members and build team cohesion and effectiveness.
15. Leverage Atlassian tool suite like JIRA and Confluence to track activities
16. Apply and identify best practices and standard operating procedures
17. Create innovative solutions to meet the technical needs of customers

Minimum Requirements:

1. 7+ years of hands-on application development utilizing the Marklogic framework
2. Strong analytical and design skills, including the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient and effective technical designs that work well within large-scale, well-structured enterprise environments
3. Experience in the development of service-oriented architecture applications
4. Good understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Design Patterns
5. Experience with implementing the Marklogic java-client-api within an enterprise application
6. Strong knowledge of XQuery, FLWOR queries, JavaScript, Marklogic, SPARQL, RDF data, XML Data, triple-stores, XML Processing
7. Experience with developer Marklogic Entity Model
8. Experience with building Marklogic data hub
9. Experience with Unix/Shell scripting.
10. In-depth experience in Java and data processing, manipulation, or querying (SQL or NoSQL)
11. Proficient with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and development practices
12. In-depth experience in the software development lifecycle, with experience delivering within DevOps toolsets/practices
13. Direct experience utilizing software testing performance tools, such as Junit
14. Experience with scripting languages, such as Python, Bash
15. Experience working in an Agile development environment and tempo
16. Experience with development in Commercial Cloud Platforms (ex, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
17. Experience with development leveraging cloud data services (ex: S3, RDS, EFS)
18. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
19. Candidate must have a Master's with 15+ years of relevant experience or a PhD with 13+ years of relevant experience.
20. Candidate must have an active TS/SCI with FSP

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience developing in or deploying to AWS
