Introduction
We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team at AIS. You will leverage front-end JavaScript frameworks like Angular and back-end technologies such as Java and Python to develop custom applications for our federal government clients.
What you will be doing:
- Collaborate with a team of talented professionals to tackle challenging mission problems using cutting-edge technologies.
- Design and build elegant, scalable, and cost-effective solutions with a focus on innovation and agility.
- Utilize your expertise in text and document processing to address complex issues.
- Stay informed about industry standards and trends, promoting the adoption of new technologies.
- Work closely with project managers and other development team members to deliver exceptional solutions that meet client expectations within deadlines and budgets.
- This is a hybrid role and requires an on-site presence at Fort Belvoir, VA 1-2 days a week.
- U.S. Citizenship Required.
- Must possess a minimum of an adjudicated SECRET security clearance.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field; work experience accepted in lieu of degree.
- Security+ certification required.
- Proven experience in building applications with open-source development libraries.
- Proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript, particularly with frameworks like Angular or React.
- Experience with Java or Python.
- Familiarity with open-source text processing tools.
- Comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
- Understanding of containerization (Docker) and cloud deployment.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes.
