Position Overview:

We have an immediate opening for a Civil Project Engineer in our Portland office. This role is perfect for an individual with a passion for civil engineering design and a commitment to sustainability and development services. As a Civil Project Engineer at Luxus Build, you will be involved in a wide variety of project types, playing a key role from conceptual planning through to project approval and construction. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for both in-office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Design and Development: Lead and contribute to the design and development of civil engineering projects, including site and public infrastructure, building, and wastewater/water projects.
  2. Sustainability Focus: Integrate sustainable practices into all aspects of design and development.
  3. Project Coordination: Coordinate project efforts across multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  4. Technical Expertise: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D to create precise and efficient design solutions.
  5. Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide innovative solutions.
  6. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs meet relevant regulations and standards, and obtain necessary approvals.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience: 3 to 8 years of experience in civil engineering design, with specific experience in building and wastewater/water projects.
  2. Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is mandatory.
  3. Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.
  4. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  5. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Collaboration: Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
