Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Duration: Direct Hire/Perm

Salary: $130k-$140k/year

Location: Cincinnati, OH

• Onsite 5 days/week

Start Date: ASAP

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A company in the Cincinnati, OH area is looking for a Mechanical engineer to join their team! Their responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Work with Project Managers to establish design parameters consistent with the project scope, schedule and budget
• Prepare Mechanical design and construction documents in REVIT, per applicable standards
• Prepare mechanical design studies, written design narratives, calculations, and analysis, and direct Mechanical Engineering support staff as required
• Maintain a working knowledge of architectural, electrical, structural, civil, fire protection and telecom building systems; coordinate these systems with the mechanical design
• Prepare design documents as required for all phases of design (concept, schematic, design development and construction documents)

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 12+ years progressive experience in the field of Mechanical and Plumbing Engineering working in the AEC industry (PE cert highly preferred)
• Experienced in designing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for design, bid, permit, and construction
• AutoCAD experience
• Revit experience
• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
