Analog/Mixed-Signal Layout Engineer

Extropic is hiring an Analog / Mixed-Signal Layout Engineer to help accelerate our hardware development.

The ideal candidate would be someone with a deep understanding of Analog / Mixed signal layout design and experience in analog/mixed-signal layout design of deep sub-micron circuits.

Relevant Skills:

1. Experience in implementing analog layouts to achieve tight matching, optimizing for low parasitics.
2. Experience in custom/standard cell based floor-planning and hierarchical layout design.
3. Good understanding of layout issues related to IR drop, RC delay, electro-migration, and coupling parasitics.
4. Experience with interpreting output from DRC, LVS, ERC tools to complete layout in a timely manner.
5. Experience in implementing layouts with FinFETs.
6. Experience with using CADENCE layout and verification (DRC, LVS) tools.
7. Experience with chip level routing.
8. Experience with taping out chips to the foundry.
9. Understanding critical aspects of various circuits to implement optimized layouts.
10. Understanding ESD / Latch up rules.
11. Scripting skills are greatly desired, but not required.

Salary: $120,000 - $300,000 a year. Salary and equity compensation vary widely with experience level. Substantial equity available for highly skilled and motivated individuals.
