Sr. Software Engineer

Work in a company headquartered in New York City. Its businesses provide a diverse set of specialty, niche-market insurance products in the property, casualty, life, and health insurance sectors.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 5 years of management/leadership experience in a software development or Engineering organization.
2. Must have at least 7 years’ experience working through the design, development, release cycle, and delivering software products to market.
3. Sitefinity CMS knowledge a big plus.
4. Experience in C#, ASP.NET, WCF, and WEB API.
5. Understanding of relational databases (MSSQL, MySQL).
6. Understanding of cloud hosting and server availability behind a load balancer and firewall.
7. Experience using agile development methodologies.
8. Familiar with the configuration management process in the SDLC. Managing software release from development to QA to UAT and Production with the help of the deployment group.
9. Familiarity with HTML5, C#, MVC, and ASP.NET.
10. Willingness to dive into software environments and technical issues.
11. High command of verbal and written English.
12. Ability to successfully work under tight project deadlines.
13. Well organized, good communication, and reporting skills.
14. Self-motivated, team player, action and results-oriented.
