Front End Developer / Builder / Project Manager for WordPress Websites

• Location: Remote (Work from Home)

• Type: Full-Time Contract

• Salary Range: $40,000 - $60,000 USD per year, depending on experience

• Reports to: President

Job Overview:

As our Front End Developer / Builder, you will lead all website development projects from inception to completion while supporting our team with second-level support. You will be the driving force behind defining our processes and standards, managing all aspects of the development and project pipeline. Your creativity, technical skills, and ability to develop scalable processes will play a key role in our agency's growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and Develop Projects: Oversee all new website development projects from start to finish. As we are in early growth, you'll actively participate in development to help define processes and standards. This includes providing design support.

2. Lead Small to Mid-Sized Projects: Handle all small projects that exceed basic support tickets but don't require full-scale development efforts.

3. Project Planning: Develop project timelines and budgets; manage contractors or team members as needed to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

4. Support and Operations: Collaborate with our small, tight-knit team to provide support coverage and leverage your expertise in day-to-day operations.

*Note: This is a hands on position. You will be managing and doing much of the work following a detailed set of processes and SOP’s developed over the last decade.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Project Management: Strong skills in project management, especially in setting timelines and managing deliverables.

• WordPress Development: At least 3 years of experience, preferably using page builders like Beaver Builder; partial coding skills are helpful.

• DNS Management:Intermediate knowledge of DNS.

• Google Agency Toolkit: Proficiency with Tag Manager, Search Console, and Analytics.

• Hosting and Tools: Understanding of WordPress hosting environments; familiarity with Trello, Slack, and similar tools.

• Content Skills: Basic writing skills and experience using AI tools for content creation in project deliverables.

• WordPress Building: While development is important, you will also be required to build out these websites. Populate pages with content, images, and configure all settings.

Experience:

• At least 3 years of WordPress development experience.

• At least 1 year of project management experience in an agency setting.
