Position Overview:
Ambient.ai is hiring our first engineering leader in Bengaluru, India. You will be a hands-on engineering leader with experience developing and managing engineering teams. You will also be responsible for building the India charter.

- Build a positive and productive engineering culture in the Bengaluru office
- Hire world-class engineers and scale the team
- Work with other teams in Ambient.ai
- Build products for enterprise customers
- Support ongoing growth and development including recruiting and mentoring
- Establish efficient workflows and practices
- Lead the team during rapid growth
- Represent the team and their projects with senior partners
The amazing skills you'll bring to Ambient.ai:
- 5+ years of software engineering management experience
- 7+ years of industry experience designing and building distributed systems
- Minimum experience of 10+ years in the software industry
- Experience leading platform engineering teams
- Excited and able to solve interesting technical challenges
- Experience recruiting and leading technical teams
- Experience building enterprise-grade software or services
- CS fundamentals including data structures and algorithms
- You can distill complex technical paradigms into easily understandable literature
- You have the ability to provide technical direction across the organization
- Prior experience building SaaS products will be a huge advantage
