Position Summary
The role of Mechanical Drafter I will be to create and/or modify detail and assembly design layouts and drawings under engineering direction and supervision and in accordance with customer requirements.
Position Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a foundational understanding of 2D and 3D CAD software interfaces and tools.
• Create simple 2D sketches and drawings under supervision.
• Develop basic 3D part and assembly files with guidance.
• Utilize fundamental drawing and editing commands proficiently.
• Manage files with basic organizational skills.
• Understand measurement systems (Imperial and Metric) and effectively use tools such as tape measures,calipers, protractors/angle finders, and micrometers.
• Show familiarity with ASME Y14.5 standards.
• Apply a basic understanding of engineering principles.
• Show familiarity with basic manufacturing and machining processes.
• Interpret simple technical drawings accurately.
• Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
• Follow instructions diligently and learn from constructive feedback.
• Demonstrate essential time management and organizational skills

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree, trade school diploma or equivalent technical experience
• 0-2 years' experience or equivalent with the primary responsibilities inclusive of mechanical component and assembly drawings and the creation of bills of materials.
• Experience using computer-aided drafting principles, geometric tolerancing fundamentals, and established design standards to create mechanical designs for ProEnergy Services manufacturing.
• Experience with CAD Software (Solidworks, Creo, or NX preferred)
• Technical competence including understanding software, hardware, networks, etc.
• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
• Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities to meet deadlines for long-and short-term objectives.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite programs.
• Proficient in the use of a variety of general office equipment and skilled at typing at a speed necessary for successful job performance.

• Knowledge of correct English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation.
• Knowledge of basic business arithmetic.
• Travel might be required as needed.
