Job Description:

As an Associate Analog Design Engineer at ADI, you will work closely with experienced engineers to design and develop analog and mixed-signal ICs. You will contribute to the creation of amplifiers, filters, data converters, and other critical analog circuits. This role will involve performing circuit simulations, optimizing designs, and supporting product validation and testing to ensure circuit performance meets design specifications. You'll also collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate designs into customer applications and products.

This position includes formal and on-the-job training, offering excellent opportunities to develop technical skills in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of analog circuits, including amplifiers, filters, and data converters.
  • Perform circuit simulations and evaluations using SPICE and Cadence Virtuoso.
  • Support IC layout design by working with layout engineers to optimize performance and manufacturability.
  • Participate in product validation and testing to verify design specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including applications, product, and test engineers.

Skills You Will Need to be Successful:

  • Analog Circuits Design: Basic knowledge of designing analog circuits such as amplifiers and filters.
  • Mixed-Signal IC Design: Familiarity with integrating analog and digital circuits on a single chip.
  • Simulation Modeling: Proficiency in using SPICE or Cadence for circuit simulations to predict performance.
  • Integrated Circuit Layout: Exposure to IC layout principles to ensure optimized designs.
  • CMOS Design: Fundamental understanding of CMOS technology to support the development of efficient circuits.
  • Analog to Digital Conversion: Developing knowledge of ADC design to ensure precise data conversion.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience, including internships or co-op experience.
  • Basic understanding of analog design and simulation tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
