IT Project Engineer

Description

Leidos is seeking an IT Project Engineer to join our integration, operations, and sustainment program team. The ideal candidate will work closely with technical and program management leadership to oversee various project management aspects, including staffing, training, finance, contracting, proposals, scheduling, and risk management.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a large IT program in support of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency
• Collaborate with the PMO, task order teams, and external partners to ensure program success
• Develop budgets, schedules, reports, and briefing materials

Basic Qualifications:

• BS degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of relevant experience
• Active TS clearance, with the ability to obtain SCI with Polygraph post hire
• Proven leadership experience on IT programs
• Understanding of agile organizational structures and processes
• Excellent communication and briefing skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI with a Polygraph
• Geospatial and/or NGA experience
• PMP certification
• Technical/IT certification
• Understanding of cloud technologies, specifically Amazon Web Services
• Expert understanding of agile SW development methodologies and certification (SAFe)
• Experience with all aspects of project management

Pay Range: $68,900.00 - $124,550.00 (Pay range is a general guideline and subject to various factors)
