Company:  liquid.ai
Location: Boston
Closing Date: 31/10/2024
Salary: £150 - £200 Per Annum
Hours: Full Time
Type: Permanent
Job Requirements / Description

The Product team has reached a level of maturity where each member now owns their own work streams, allowing for more focused and efficient progress. As a result, we can avoid the challenges of overlapping responsibilities. We have a substantial backlog of promising projects and experiments that we’re eager to pursue, but much of our current effort is spent on enhancing platform stability.

To accelerate our development and innovation, we are seeking a talented, self-directed Senior Product and Software Engineer. This individual will not only help manage and prioritize our initiatives but will also significantly increase our productivity and progress with each iteration as we work towards achieving PMF.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Ownership : Take the lead on multiple product features, ensuring not just technical delivery but that the features meet the core user needs. You’ll be the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for these features.
  • Fullstack Prototyping : Implement rapid prototypes for experimental features, making decisions that balance immediate needs with future scalability.
  • Systems Design : Tackle complex technical challenges and design systems that can evolve from prototype to production.
  • Strategic Decision-Making : With minimal oversight, you’ll proactively identify the highest priority tasks and drive them to completion. Your decisions will shape the direction of our product development.
  • Collaborative Culture : Align your career motivations with our vision and values. We prioritize ownership, autonomy, and leading through vision rather than micromanagement.

What you'll need:

  • Communication & Simplicity : You break down complex problems and implement elegant, functional solutions quickly.
  • Product Thinking : You’re not just a coder; you have a strong product sense. You look past feature requests to identify the core problem and craft strategies that maximize impact with minimal effort.
  • Self-Directed : Our remote, flat-structured environment requires someone who can see a problem, prioritize it, and solve it without needing constant guidance.
  • Culture Fit : We value autonomy, ownership, and a shared vision. If you’re motivated by impact rather than process, you’ll fit right in.
