System Engineer I-Medical Device

BEPC is looking for a System Engineer I-Medical Device in Pleasanton, CA to join our fast-growing team of consultants!

W2 Contract: 6 months with opportunities for extensions based on business needs and performance.

Pay Range: $33.85-45.00/hr. plus we offer Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance benefits!

Schedule: 100% Onsite, pot. for overtime on as needed basis.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in technical projects per the Diagnostics Life Cycle Management and product development processes.
• Carry out tasks as necessary to run test campaigns to verify requirements and design specifications.
• Collect, analyze, and develop report packages to support system verification and validations.
• Conduct material & system characterization.
• Troubleshooting and data analysis of issues during development and in the field.

Skills:

• 0-3 years of related experience required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal direction in an interdisciplinary environment.
• Exceptional people skills, strong communication, flexible personality, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong skills in writing technical reports and verbally communicating technical content in oral presentations.
• Experience troubleshooting/installing medical device machinery is helpful.
• Experience with validation, product development, and feasibility testing is preferred.
• Comfortable working in an aseptic and lab-based environment.

Education :

• B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, Physical, and/or Biological Sciences, or related field.
