For more information, visit: Responsibilities: Perform bridge design tasks under the guidance of senior engineersApply engineering principles on and in support of the plans and construction documentsWork in a team environment to develop plans using MicroStation and/or AutoCADPrepare technical design documentation, quantity take-offs, cost estimates and specificationsReview submittals and shop drawings for compliance with contract documentsGain valuable experience in the design of bridges as well as roadway geometrics, intersections, sidewalks/trails, pavement design, drainage, erosion and sedimentation control, and work zone traffic controlDevelop the knowledge required to produce design and construction documents for new and rehabilitated bridges using the required specificationsParticipate in job site visits and attend project meetingsInterface with other technical disciplines Qualifications: BS in Structural Engineering EIT certificate preferredCompetent use of basic software such as MS Office
