Azure DevOps Engineer

Top client needs a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the charge in implementing tools and processes for rapid software development and deployment. Your mission is to drive continuous integration/deployment, ensuring automated quality checks, quick deployment across on-premises and cloud infrastructure, and providing operational metrics for development teams.

Responsibilities/Duties:

1. Manage all development licenses and certificates.
2. Design, implement, and manage Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security.
3. Create, configure, and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for efficient and automated software delivery.
4. Set up and manage monitoring and logging solutions in Azure using tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
5. Configure and maintain Azure DevOps tools for collaborative development and project management.
6. Implement and maintain security measures in Azure, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
7. Provide technical support to resolve issues, troubleshoot problems, and ensure smooth software and system operation.

Required Skills and Abilities:

1. Minimum 5+ years of experience building CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
2. Minimum 2+ years of experience in AKS and other Microsoft Azure technologies.
3. .NET development background with scripting experience in PowerShell, Bash, and C#.
4. Minimum 2+ years of experience in .NET framework/.NET CORE.
5. Minimum 3+ years of experience with Windows OS.
6. Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes.
7. Good understanding of networks in both on-premises and Azure infrastructure.
8. Experience in setting up and managing monitoring and logging solutions using Azure tools.
9. Ability to implement and manage security measures for Azure-based applications and infrastructure.
10. Knowledge of Nginx is a plus.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field.
