Job Description: ASRC FEDERAL (Agile Decision Sciences) is seeking a Software Engineer Senior I for our contract located at Aberdeen Proving Ground. This is a REMOTE position with occasional travel to the client site required.
Position Description: The Software Engineer Senior I will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions. This role involves working on complex software systems, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability. The Software Engineer Senior I will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver innovative software solutions that meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Unix and Windows network systems.
- Provide software and hardware support for networked systems.
- Install, upgrade, and configure server systems.
- Monitor system configurations and event logs.
- Perform system testing and troubleshooting.
- Develop and implement procedures for server backups.
- Ensure compliance with IA standards and security requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or another Engineering or Technical discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience with TCP/IP, information security, and system administration of Unix or Windows networks.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Fully IA certified in accordance with AR 25-2 and DoD 8570.01 M.
- Must be a U.S citizen eligible for a Secret security clearance.
