Role: Senior Engineer- Java
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Work model: Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)
Salary: $110K - $190K depending on experience + benefits package (Negotiable)
We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in designing and implementing high-performance, distributed systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- 6+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong coding skills in object-oriented languages like C/C++, Java, or Go (Java preferred).
- Experience in building distributed microservice systems.
- Hands-on experience with Service Mesh frameworks (e.g., Envoy, Linkerd, Istio) and gRPC/ProtoBuf.
- Experience in monitoring and tracing distributed systems using tools like Zipkin, Jaeger, ELK Stack, and Grafana.
- Experience in building cloud-native applications; knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift is a plus.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases and distributed messaging systems (e.g., Redis, Kafka, Couchbase, Cassandra).
- Expertise in developing RESTful APIs, event-driven, and reactive programming.
- Proven track record in delivering and maintaining large-scale enterprise systems.
- Experience working in DevOps and Agile teams.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Stash.
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to senior leadership.
