Addressing the need for greater business agility in a world that moves fast, our Business Planning Cloud delivers a new way for everybody who plans to collaborate, gain business insights, and adapt with agility.
About the Role
- You will be a key contributor to Workday’s Planning next generation platform and will be responsible for delivering a secure high-performance services and ensuring quality of the products, services, and APIs.
- Contribute to engineering efforts to solve complex testing problems by designing and developing a scalable test automation framework.
- Partner with team to ensure test coverage and build test plans that help deliver high quality features.
- Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, automation test scripts to ensure the quality of new or enhanced features.
- Implement test automation and framework enhancements with a quality mindset.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills as this job involves interacting with multiple teams.
- Collaborate with Developers, DevOps and other QA engineers on secure coding practices through all steps of the SDLC to prevent application and configuration related vulnerabilities.
About You
Basic Qualifications SDET
- 5+ years of experience working with development and QA as SDET or automation engineer.
- Experience building automation test with Selenium and Rest API.
- Experience writing automated tests in a Continuous Integration (CI) systems.
- Execution and monitoring on daily/weekly pipeline runs and test analysis.
- Understanding of data structures and ability to construct complex SQL statements.
- Experience with Java, C#, Python.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent work or educational experience required.
Other Qualifications
- Experience in building comprehensive Test Strategies and work independently on complex projects.
- Demonstrable experience in programmatically testing software products and automating those tests.
- Skilled in building robust, scale-able, and high-quality test automation solutions for functional and regression testing.
- Experience with AWS cloud security.
- Experience with Jenkins, Jira.
- Experience building Automation Frameworks.
Workday Pay Transparency Statement
The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $116,000 USD - $174,000 USD
Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $110,200 USD - $199,000 USD
