Job Duties:
- Design and develop innovative software for Tableau’s next-generation Visual Analytics and Collaboration suite using high-level, object-oriented programming languages.
- Create requirements and design documents for major software features.
- Implement software for Tableau’s server and desktop products using large-scale C++ systems on Windows platforms.
- Work on improving the software development process by building and deploying tools to the team.
- Work with quality assurance on software engineering projects and provide technical support to customers.
- Help implement features for Tableau’s Services Manager, which distributes the services framework for scalable and flexible maintenance of Tableau’s core services on the cloud.
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and six (6) months of experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or six (6) months of experience in the job offered.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Salary: $127,338.00 - $168,700.00 per annum.

For Washington-based roles: the base salary hiring range for this position is $127,338 to $168,700.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
