Position: Information Systems Director
Work Location: Onsite - Doral, FL (No telecommuting option)

Responsibilities:
- Oversee complex, high-impact projects crucial to improving public service outcomes.
- Provide strategic direction and mentorship, ensuring successful project delivery on time, within scope, and budget.
- Define, manage, and monitor the project portfolio, including schedules, performance, quality, risks, and budgets.
- Implement corrective actions as needed.
- Lead requirements analysis, business rule creation, issue tracking and resolution, and user acceptance.
- Establish a modern, high-performing software engineering organization with consistent and predictable software delivery.
- Improve and modernize developer skills in agile, DevOps, API creation, and full stack development.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of demonstrated ability as a Software Engineering Leader.
- 5+ years of experience directly managing Data Engineering and Analytics Engineering teams.
- Solid foundation in Data engineering methodologies and best practices.
- Experience in data governance, data quality, data integrity, and data security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Python, SQL, Spark, and Databricks.
Education Required:
- BA/BS with 15+ years of experience, or MS with 10+ years of experience.
Certification(s) Required:
- DoD 8570 compliant: IAT Level II or III Baseline Certification, Computing Environment (CE) Certificate, IAM Level II or III Baseline Certification (CISSP, CISM, Security+), IT Service Management Certification (ITIL v4), PMP certification (PMI-PMP), Agile certifications (CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe POPM).
Clearance Required:
- Interim SECRET clearance is needed to start, with the ability to obtain and maintain TOP SECRET clearance and SCI access.
Travel Requirements:
- Up to 10% travel is required.
