The Opportunity

We are looking for a driven and highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer who is passionate about making a difference. Here, you will collaborate with some of the top talent in the field, ensuring flawless project execution and contributing to our mission of delivering unparalleled animation and compositing experiences for our customers.
What you'll Do
- Design, develop, and implement After Effects features that will be used by millions of users globally.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to successfully implement innovative features and improve existing ones.
- Conduct detailed code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure the highest standards of code quality.
- Follow Agile methodologies in software development to deliver reliable and maintainable code.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and completing opportunities for process and product improvements.
- Mentor junior engineers in a collaborative environment that promotes growth and learning.
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record of developing high-quality C++ and desktop applications.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to collaborators who may not have a technical background.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- A passion for continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $154,000 -- $278,800 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
